Team Effectiveness

Group dynamics deals with altitudes plus behaviour patterns of a group or a team, the process plus their structure that they follow in their operation. Thus, it is apprehensive about the forces plus their interactions in operating between the groups. Functioning as one of the successful team necessities in the integration of various different tasks. Just like a jigsaw puzzle, if there is a piece missing the puzzle, then the group of people is not likely to functions as a true team.

The following has to be incorporated to bring into the success of the team productive meetings, team building issues, recurring phases plus stages of team development, roles and team composition, good coordination, types of decisions and the roles of a team member, among others. My team did the following to bolster a good relationship among members to bring to the realization of the success of the team goals.

There was a good constructive relationship that was also between a person plus the team. For us to have a constructive relationship, there was mutual understanding plus trust between the parties involved. A constructive relationship doesn’t occur immediately, it takes a while to be open with others and also develop trust between parties. It was hard but in the long run, the team achieved this. Secondly, the team made sure there was a productive relationship which is important since if a relationship or affiliation between two or more individuals in a team is not prolific, the team might be unprolific. Prolific relationships, allowed us to view on factual issues those that are crucial plus to doing in a method that makes us vary from others. Thirdly we had to create a mutual understanding of ourselves.

It’s critical because, it encouraged everyone to keep attention on plus understanding other person’s point of view, plus bid us the fulfilment of being understood. It was significant to authenticate another person’s perspective it was also significant for everyone to be authenticated. It goes back to building plus trust in a well constructive relationship, to be understood, you also ought to appreciate others. Good relations and teamwork are self-corrective. Alike in a marriage, each part is devoted in enlightening the relationship. Ongoing to work on enlightening and improving association you are emerging mutual understanding plus belief between the involved parties.

What do you believe attributed to your team’s success or lack thereof? Effective communication.

It is the difference between a team and a group and is crucial to the success of the intended project. The team members communicated to the effects to coordinate the prolific efforts. Task directives were delivered, problem-solving discussions took place and the results were reported. Since communication is vital, our team created formal communication processes, which comprised of formal meetings, formal reports (such as profit-and-loss statements), interoffice memoranda and work schedules. Norms standards or Informal rules that regulate the team’s performance. Team norms can resistant to change and also become very powerful.

In a situation such as a frequent team meeting, or even a school class, where everyone assembles or sits in the same chair at all meeting. Any sort of change in seating can result in unease on the part of team members. In such a situation, seating norms create to control the social unease that could come about because of picking a different seat at each meeting. No one has to worry about why someone is or not sitting next to him or her. Nor does anyone have to wonder how others will take his or her motives for a seating choice. In our group, we set simple and strict rules to bring order to the team and avoid disagreements or any other issue that would undermine our goals leading to failure.

In conclusion, when a team procedure is implemented effectively a team can be used to pool the experiences plus thoughts of its team members in pursuit for a collective result. Teams can support organizations of entire kinds be more effectual in solving the problem by pooling skilled teams to work together in the same environment. A fundamental to an effective group/team is to understand its dynamics. Great team dynamics should start with good relationships, both on a personal basis and/or the relationships of individuals inside the team.

Larson and LaFasto established the connected model to promote individuals grow good relations. The connected model was made around the four major important aspects of production, a good inter-relation, constructive, self-corrective and mutual understanding. Once the team has well-known good relationships, conveying roles in the team, this will give the team a chance to become successful. By recognizing possible drawbacks that may alter good team and or team dynamics members can fight the effects plus advance a more successful and productive team.
